Finally got to watch Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix. Was supposed to be a class outing. But in the end only Ying Shi, John, Jian Hui and I went for the movie cos the others either watched it already or cannot make it today. Lol. It was damn funny cos we kinda turned up following a dress code even though it was purely coincidental. Ying Shi and Jian Hui both turned up in a black tee, berms and sandals/slippers while John and I turned up in white shirt and jeans. Wth. I swear it was totally uncoordinated. Hahaha. We wanted to get a couple's seat for Jian Hui and Ying Shi but our plan was foiled by one Miss Ying Shi as she caught my partner in crime John in action at the ticketing booth. xD oops. Had one hour before the movie started and since majority of us werent hungry we decided to do something to pass time. Wanted to play pool initially but maybe cos John looked too young, the uncle demanded an IC to be presented and refused to to let us play when none of us had our IC with us. Actually I don't see the difference, since I'm pretty sure the birth date printed on both pieces of identification is the same. Bowling alley was full so we went to the arcade. Then we discovered the reason why Jian Hui objected so strongly to daytona- for the lack of talent practice. Yeap. xD Then after that the dudes started playing this arcade soccer game and seemed like they had fun playing so ying shi and I wandered around till it was time for the movie to start. The movie was not bad i thought. They finally gave the patronas charm a shape. Harry's patronas took the shape of prongs (<3)finally instead of the shield thing in the 3rd movie. I thought effects and everything was quite nice except that yeah, they cut out alot of parts. So it seemed as though the timeline of the movie was only a few days or weeks when the book was actually about their entire 5th year, which made it seemed like Harry and Cho kissed for the sake of kissing to satisfy the whole world who has been anticipating Harry's first documented kiss. Hah. I thought that their kissing scene was really damn random. -..- Sirius looked better, though curly hair is kinda strange, especially on little sirius during the flashback of old marauders days in Snape's memory. Snape was like this total emo kid- there was this scene in the flashback back when he was sitting huddled at a corner of this room emoing. HAHA. Little James looks quite in character, but the adult James Potter is abit less handsome than i expect him to be and less mischievious looking. I didnt even notice little Remus- couldn't pick him up during the really short flashback that was like about 15s or sth. But I maintain my point that adult Remus looks kind of like Hitler, or an Italian chef T.T Tonks is quite cool though. But I'm not supportive of Remus x Tonks. SIRIUS X REMUS FTW! hohoho. Ohhh. I liked Luna Lovegood. I think the little girl did the role very well. She looks abit bratty but kinda cute too. She has very nice and pretty long blonde hair. And her acting was good. In cannon with the book where Luna is abit eccentric, and does and says really random strange things like they are perfectly normal. yeps. haha. that's about it.
